Atlas Mountains & Trekking

2 tours · free hotel pickup in Marrakech · private or small group

The High Atlas starts about 60 km south of Marrakech. From the village of Imlil (1,740 m) you can hike between Amazigh villages in a day or climb Mount Toubkal, North Africa's highest peak at 4,167 m, in two days with a night at the refuge (3,207 m). A certified mountain guide is required for Toubkal.

Which Atlas trek suits you?

Choose the Imlil day hike for walnut terraces, mud-brick villages and lunch with a local family; choose Toubkal if you are fit and want a summit. Check our complete Toubkal guide, the best months to climb and the packing list.
