The best day trips from Marrakech are the Ouzoud Waterfalls (2.5–3 h each way), Essaouira on the Atlantic coast (about 3 h), the Ourika Valley in the Atlas foothills (1 h), Aït Benhaddou via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (3.5–4 h) and a sunset evening in the Agafay desert (45 min).
